Nancy Jones was a painter of oil and watercolor--landscapes, figure and still life. She studied at: RISD (class of 1912; post grad. classes, 1913-15; 1917-18) ; under C. Hawthorne ; H. Leith-Ross ; Fontainbleau School of Fine Arts She taught at RISD (1912-1952)--Dept. Freehand Drawing & Painting She was a member of the Providence Art Club, Providence Watercolor Club and the South County Art Association.
