Born May 2, 1917, in Champaign, Illinois, Paul Haller Jones was the son of
Paul V.B. Jones and Frida Haller Jones. He studied art under
LaForce Bailey (1893-1962) at the University of Illinois where he
received a B.A. and a B.F.A.
Jones continued his artistic education at the Art Students League in
New York under Jon Corbino (1905-1964). He also received a
Masters degree at the Cranbrook Academy under Zolten Sepeshy
(1898-1974).
