Peter Jaspers (1904-1978)
Born in the Rhineland Germany in 1904, Peter Jaspers begun painting at an early age. He first trained at the art School in Krefeld where he was admitted with a scholarship, and continued his study at the "Art Staatliche Kunstakademie" in Dusseldorf.
Further scholarships enabled him to travel to France, Switzerland and Italy for the continuation of his training and to study old and contemporary masters. In Italy he found the environment an (showing 500 of 2339 characters). |
