| Living near Portland, Oregon Shelley Jordon celebrates in monumental size paintings, some twelve feet long, that which she sees in the ordinary life around her--fruit, flowers, tin cans, etc., often juxtaposed against landscape.
In September, 2000, she is having a one-person exhibit at the Frye Art Museum in Seattle. She is associate professor of art at Oregon State University in Corvalis.
