Already as a young girl, she studied drawing on weekends and was fascinated by the books about master painters. Jarboe went on to create a considerable body of work, in an impressionist style. Her work can be seen at galleries from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to Cincinnati, Ohio, Little Rock, Arkansas, Houston, Texas, and Shreveport, Louisiana. Born and raised in Parsons, Kansas, she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the sixties, where she studied with several well known oil painters, a (showing 500 of 1625 characters). |
