ARTIST STATEMENT:
These reductive abstractions of nature have become a direct reflection of where I stand both physically and spiritually at the time each is painted, thus each piece is quite distinctive from the next yet connected by a single thread, my hand. By reducing the subject to its primary component the larger picture becomes clear.
