| Born in Placerville, CA on April 28, 1894. By 1920 Alzada Knutson had established a studio in Los Angeles. In 1921 she married artist Lawrence Cannom and settled into a studio-home in Altadena at 3680 Sunset Ridge Rd. She studied locally at the Stickney Art School under Lorser Feitelson. After her husband’s death in 1970, she married Russ Van Norden. She died in Pasadena, CA on April 10, 1987. Her oils and watercolors include landscapes, still lifes, and urban scenes.
