Born in 1959 in Tula Town, Russia, Andrey Karpov describes himself as a "classical painter of modern art." He took his degree at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology as an Engineer-Physicist and lives and works in Moscow. Since 1986, he has exhibited work in Russia and abroad.
