Art Kerrick was born in Park Rapids, MN in 1901. He was educated at the Minneapolis School of Art and the Art Students League in New York. By the 1930s, Kerrick had exhibited his work at several major institutions, including the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Kansas City Art Institute.
Kerrick was employed on one of the more unusual tasks of the WPA. In 1937, he and eleven other artists from across the US were sent to the (showing 500 of 886 characters). |
