| Having spent her summers as a child in New Hampshire, Boston born environmental artist Betty Klavun went on to graduate from Bennington College in 1938 with a major in theater design. During a European trip following graduation, she apparently admired what she saw as the theater in socialist countries' ability to communicate with the people. If Klavun did not lose sight of her artistic desires during succeeding years as a mother, they were put on hold until a divorce, when she returned to art in (showing 500 of 1974 characters). |
