David Konigsberg, painter of landscape and conceptual narrative, reflects his rural and urban experiences in his work. He was born in Warren, Pennsylvania, and earned a BA in Literature from Hofstra University, Hempstead New York and studied monotype and lithography in the Bob Blackburn Studio, New York. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
In 1999, his work was included in New American Paintings, an annual survey of contemporary art. He was also awarded a residency at the MacDowell (showing 500 of 2436 characters). |
