Born inKansas City, Missourion March 20, 1909. Kushner studied at Kansas City Art Institute and Teacher’s College (B.S, 1937), Columbia University (M.A., 1938), Art Institute of Chicago, and Art Students League in New York City. She then taught art in Kansas City public schools, Grover Cleveland High School in New York City (1940-46), and at Pasadena City College after 1969. She died in Brooklyn, New York on April 5, 2000. Exhibited: Library of Congress, 1960; Boston Museum, 1965;Laguna Bea (showing 500 of 857 characters).
