The artist, Edward Klauck, enjoyed a long and respected reputation in
both the fields of fine art and in the world of commercial art.
Born in Chicago in 1900, he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago for
eleven years and later at the art colony that flourished in Woodstock,
New York in the 1920’s.
He worked in New York for 40 years, first as a freelance artist and
illustrator, and then for the next 25 years as an artist/art director
for J. Walter Thompson; and B.B.D.& (showing 500 of 2446 characters). |
