Edward Earl Kibbee (1897-1973)
Born in Buffalo, New York, on October 13, 1897, he was a resident of Maywood, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. His received his education in New York, St. Louis and Chicago. He studied at the Chicago Art Institute under Antonin Sterba and Allen St. John.
He was a member of the Austin, Oak Park and River Forest Art League. He was also secretary of Maywood Arts Club and a member of the All-Illinois Society of the Fine Art (showing 500 of 945 characters). |
