| | Born in Corvallis, OR on March 16, 1885. Following graduation from Oregon Episcopal School, Elizabeth wed Richard Keatinge and moved to California in 1907. After many years in Los Altos and a return to Portland, she established a home in Berkeley in 1928. She then studied at the CCAC, and with Eliot O'Hara, George Post, and Jade Fon. She moved to Carmel, CA in 1963 and remained there until her death on April 12, 1987. A plein air painter, the Big Sur provided most of her subject matter. Exh: SWA; Oakland AA; Berkeley Festival of Arts, 1966 (1st prize); Carmel Religious Art, 1968 (1st prize); Carmel Foundation, 1975 (solo); Carmel AA, 1980 (solo).
