| | Born in Wisconsin on Nov. 28, 1867. Kinney migrated to California in 1888 and settled in San Jose. After graduating from Stanford University in 1906, she taught art at San Jose Teacher's College. In 1924 she made a trip to England where she painted along the coast. A spinster, she died in Palo Alto, CA on Aug. 18, 1935.
