| Born in Pittsburgh, PA on Feb. 4, 1905. Kaiser studied at the Carnegie Institute and earned a master’s degree at the University of Pittsburgh. During 1927-28 she studied jewelry and drawing at the Long Island estate of Louis Comfort Tiffany. By the mid-1930s she had moved to San Diego. Later she taught printmaking at San Jose State University where one of her pupils was Wayne Thiebaud. She then taught art in the Sacramento public schools for many years. A spinster, she died there on Jan. 2 (showing 500 of 745 characters). |
