Born in Weyerhauser, Wisconsin, Florence Kawa became a painter of landscapes, primarily in watercolor, and a teacher and designer. She studied at the Minneapolis School of Art, earned a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee 1940 and in 1944, an MA Degree from Louisiana State University.
She was a teacher at Louisiana State University from 1942 to 1946, Associate Professor of Painting and Design at Florida State University, and in 1964, she became Associate Professor of (showing 500 of 948 characters). |
