Biography from Wallace Gallery:
| Florence Sidbury Kramer studied fashion design in New York City with Ethel Traphagen at the Traphagen School of Design. In the 1940’s, she took up painting, studying with Whitney Hubbard and Gladys Wiles. Shortly after this she began painting with Agnes Mothersele, Caroline Bell and other Peconic Bay Impressionists. Kramer spent two winters in North Carolina teaching at the Cape Fear Technical Institute. She was honored in 2000 in an exhibition at the Southold Historical Society.
