| | Born in Germany in 1882. By the early 1930s Kollmar had settled in Los Angeles. He assisted Stanton MacDonald-Wright on the mural in Santa Monica High School (1932) and was employed by the Public Works of Art Project (1934). He died in Los Angeles on June 10, 1954. | Source:
