| | Born in Toledo, WA on Jan. 24, 1900. Knab began painting as a child. An itinerant artist, he painted primarily in California; however, he was often on the move throughout the Northwest and made many trips across the U.S. He was at one time an instructor at the CCAC and painted backdrops for Walt Disney. Knab died in Union City, CA on Nov. 16, 1968.
