Born in Newark, NJ on Oct. 12, 1897, Isidore Klein studied at the National Academy of Design. He began his animation career in 1918 on such series as The Katzenjammer Kids and Krazy Kat.
During the 1920s he drew cartoons for Saturday Evening Post, Collier’s, Judge, and New Yorker. In 1934 he moved to Hollywood to work for both the Mintz and Disney studios.
In 1939 he returned to the East Coast to work for Terrytoons. He died in Mi (showing 500 of 713 characters). |
