 Czech artist Jaroslav Klapste, born 7.8.1923 in Zahori u Zelezneho Brodu, died 23.9.1999. From 1945 he studied with Prof. Frantisek Tichy and Prof. Emil Filla in Prague. His work is partially influenced by surrealism and works by Chagall, Cezane and Picasso. Member of the Hollar (Association of Czech Graphic Artists) and Group MAJ 57.
