| | Born in Wisconsin on Dec. 26, 1890. Kampschroer moved to Oakland, CA in 1921 and spent the remainder of his life there. He was active as an artist through the early 1930s and later was a transportation officer for the U.S. Military Sea Transport. He died while visiting in Lodi, CA on March 14, 1963.
