| Born in Alameda, CA on Jan. 13, 1906. Konigshofer was an art major at the University of Oregon (1925-26) followed by study at the ASL in NYC (1929-30) and CCAC (1932-33). After his academic training he was popular as a muralist in northern California. All of his watercolors were done during the early 1930s while living at a summer home in Ben Lomond. In 1937 he moved nearby to Carmel and became successful as a designer of many of the fine homes on the Monterey Peninsula.& (showing 500 of 777 characters). |
