Often known for: cartoon-caricature, figure-Indian, genre Trained at the Academy of Arts (Munich, 1890). Employed on his father's magazine Puck (1890-1914) and became its chief cartoonist in 1901. Sold Puck in 1913 and remained on staff briefly, then worked for Leslie's Weekly and Judge (1914-15). Was a friend of and advocate for Native Americans.
