The following was submitted June 2004 by the artist.
The subject of my paintings and drawings is often water and people. Flowers are also a frequent subject, especially flowers that are larger than life.
I attribute my affinity for water and the extended family to growing up on the Gulf Coast of the Southern United States: water, the origin of life and the Southern family, the substance of life, have a direct influence on my art.
