A native of Provincetown, Massachusetts, she is an impressionist, painting directly from
nature and redesigning the ideas into large formats in the studio. Julia
utilizes both watercolors and oils, where drawing and composition and
color all play key roles in her works that can range in sizes of ten
feet or more. The excitement and the passion she feels for
nature and for color against color that gives her paintings a lively
quality.
Kelly grew up in an environment (showing 500 of 1941 characters). |
