Karol Kozlowski was born in Dzieslawice, Poland in the very same house that my mother was also born in. He was the youngest of four children. Due to the poor economy in Poland, he left in March of 1913 to the USA in search of finding work. Karol was illiterate and had to have someone write the letters he dictated for my great-grandmother. She learned he settled in New York. He continued to keep in contact with her unt (showing 500 of 741 characters). |
