| Upon moving from Oklahoma to southern California in 1918, Knox settled in Santa Ana and later spent many years in Corona Del Mar. After her children were grown, in 1923 she began studying art with Millard Sheets, Arthur Beaumont, Anna Hills, Edgar Payne, and Nell Walker Warner. She exhibited in southern California and nationally. She died while on vacation in Greece in 1965. Her work includes landscapes, floral still lifes, and seascapes.
