| Luise Kaish, a sculptor of religious figures, was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1925. She now lives in New York City. Kaish received a B.F.A. degree in visual arts in 1946 from Syracuse University in New York, and an M.F.A. there in 1951, when she studied with Ivan Mestrovic. In between degrees, Kaish studied at the Escuela de Pintura and Escultura in Mexico City. Following her M.F.A., she attended, in 1951-1952, the Instituto d'Arte in Florence, Italy, studying stone carving and bronze casting.(showing 500 of 2540 characters). |
