| | Born in Quincy, CA on Dec. 15, 1873. Margaret married artist Charles Kahrs in the 1890s and lived in San Francisco. During 1901-04 she lived in Ottawa, Canada. A widow, she then taught school in Plumas County, CA until her death there on Oct. 27, 1944. (The town of Keddie in Plumas County is named for her father who was an early surveyor of the area.) Her work includes landscapes of Plumas County and still lifes. Exh: Calif.
