Mari Koeppel not only paints animals she welcomes them into her home. Kloeppel' s home and studio is a haven for rescued animals. She has a dog, eight cats, two horses and about twenty-five chickens.
Koeppel has always loved animals and has always been an artist. In elementary school she had private art lessons and her teacher shared with her a love for animals. Later Koeppel studied abstract expressionism in college and felt admiration for the work of Franz Marc, Paul Klee and August Mac (showing 500 of 1022 characters). |
