This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| A professional artist adept in oil and watercolor and known for animal subjects, Murray Killman painted from a studio in Caledonia, Ontario near an historical Indian camp site.
His interest in Canadian history led him to the creation of forty paintings of the War of 1812, emphasizing the Battle of Lundy's Lane in which one of his ancestors fought. The original paintings were used in a sound and light production at the Clifton Gate Building on the River Road near Niagara Falls.
He has also done calendar illustrations, and written a biography of Mary "Polly" Johnson, the granddaughter of Sir William Johnson.
