Using "time, conversation, and research as much as video, audio, and electronic hardware", Nina Katchadourian works from a Brooklyn town-house studio, but spends most summers in Finland, where she has maternal grandparents. She also is a singer in a band called the Wingdale Community Singers.
She took undergraduate studies at Brown University, and attended graduate school at the University of California in San Diego. There she met Allan Kaprow, the founder of Performance Art, (showing 500 of 1555 characters). |
