| | Born in Colorado on May 11, 1895. By the 1920s Kennedy had moved to southern California. After a brief career as a silent screen actor, he settled in La Jolla. While there, he appears to have been most active as a muralist. In the 1930s he moved to Florida and became one of the nation's leading magazine illustrators. Kennedy died in La Jolla, CA on July 19, 1975.
