The following information is from Helena J. Blair  Krastman, who wrote of Pieter Cornelis Kramer, "I have a painting by this artist that my father purchased in Holland a long time ago; it is a painting of the City Hall in Middelburg in Zeeland and it is painted on wood.
I am Dutch and my father saved the Obituary that was in the Dutch Newspaper, but he did not save the date.
When Piet Cornelis Kramer passed away his obituary in the Newspaper stated as follows.
( I will give you a translation in English from Dutch.)
Piet Cornelis Kramer
Artist in Delft
The city of Delft reported that the well known Artist Piet Cornelis Kramer passed away in that city.
Kramer was born in the town of Vrijenban on April 13 of the year 1879.
He started out as a house painter, continued into the field of decorative art and on the end of the century was given the opportunity to participate in the creation of the Dutch pavilion at the worlds fair in Paris.
Kramer decided to stay in the city on the Seine which intrigued him as an artist.
He returned to Delft after several years and was hired as a designer and painter of the stage decors at the Grand Opera House in Rotterdam.
In 1905 he devoted all his time to his art, he became well know as an artist by painting City scenes and Still life.

Piet Cornelis Kramer
