A landscape artist whose studio is in Denver, Colorado, Ray Knaub paints scenes that are gentler than mountains, especially prairie landscapes in states extending from western Indiana. He strives to achieve mood in his bucolic subjects.
One of his major touring shows was called "The Great American Prairie," forty large-scale landscapes offered in 1999, and he also wrote a book to go with the exhibit.
He grew up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and loved spending time on farms watching the (showing 500 of 3820 characters). |
