Robert Kaufmann was born November 9, 1913 in Toldeo, Ohio, and died
by accident at the age of forty-five in Key West, Florida on April 18,
1959. He lived and taught in New York City where he founded the
Forum Gallery to exhibit the work of university and college students.
He had five one-man shows at the I.F.A. Galleries, Washington,
D.C., 1952, 1955, 1957, 1958, 1959. His work was represented in
the Duncan (showing 500 of 2413 characters). |
