Art Professor Steven Kurtz of the University of Buffalo was indicted for for wire and mail fraud and faces a grand jury investigation as well as allegations of bioterrorism for setting up a mini laboratory in his house. The scientific materials were part of an installation Kurtz was preparing for an exhibition about social activism at Mass MoCA through the spring of 2005.
The materials were discovered by authorities when they entered Kurtz's house on May 11, 2004 after he called 911 upon (showing 500 of 887 characters). |
