| | Born in Alameda, CA on May 21, 1879. Kimball studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. She wed Herbert L. Kimball in 1906 and settled in Oakland. She died nearby in Orinda on Oct. 19, 1976. Working in oil, pencil, pastel, and watercolor, she produced landscapes of northern California. She was the daughter of artist Victoria Ely Stewart.
