This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Short Hills, NJ on April 5, 1907. Mrs. Korybut studied at Yale School of Fine Arts and Grand Central Art School in New York. She was the illustrator of the book The Flying Horse (1928). As the wife of artist Kasimir Korybut, she was a resident of Los Angeles from the 1930s until 1951.

She died in Glens Falls, NY on Dec. 10, 1992.

A colorful figure for years in the art world , she settled in Tombstone, Arizona. She was born in Short Hills, New Jersey. Her father was a Zoology professor at Yale University. She studied at the Yale School of Fine Arts and at the Grand Central School and the Art Students League in New York. She also studied in Europe and then, when her husband died, she supported her two young daughters with commercial art work. Many of her works are European peasant scenes.
