A painter of land and skyscapes, Will Klemm fills is paintings with hazy light that for many viewers seems more surreal than real. He explores the landscape from his imagination and uses pastels on sandpaper, creating more than 300 paintings a year.
A New Jersey native, he earned his bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Texas, Austin, and has lived there ever since. He studied with Texas painters William Hoey and Robert Levers.
