From Germany, William Krondorf became a painter in watercolor of landscapes of New Jersey, Florida and his native Germany. He arrived in New York City in 1904, and studied commercial art, photography and lithography at the Art Students League. He operated a photoengraving business in New York, making reproductions of famous paintings.
Krondorf exhibited a landscape painting, Autumn at Hopatcong, at the National Academy of Design in 1919, and at that time was living in L (showing 500 of 891 characters). |
