Prominent San Francisco and early Carmel modernist, Agnes Albert Willson was a painter, lithographer, illustrator, and muralist, who owed much of her early encouragement and guidance to Blanding Sloan.
Painting in oil, tempera, and watercolor, she specialized in horticultural illustrations, and also did landscape and portrait paintings.
Born near Gilroy, California, Alberte Willson was first the wife of Wm Spratt. She studied at the California School of Fine Art and C (showing 500 of 2032 characters). |
