Alice Frye Leach studied under Robert Vonnoh and Abbot Thayer. and at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. She was one of the founding members of the Copley Society in Boston where she also had solo exhibitions. She is listed in Who Was Who in American Art, The Dictionary of Women Artists, and in the Archives of American Art.
