| Born in Nashville, TN on Dec. 13, 1909, the daughter of artist Lucien Labaudt. At age two Alvyne moved to San Francisco with her family. She was taught to paint by her father and in 1924 continued her art studies in Paris at Ecole des Arts Décoratifs and with Marcel Roche. Returning to San Francisco in 1930, she attended the CSFA, maintained the Art Center Gallery, and painted several street scenes of San Francisco. In 1934 she returned to Paris and married Lucien Maisonneuve. She died in A (showing 500 of 722 characters). |
