BIOGRAPHY for Carl Linden, submitted by his daughter, Ann Linden:
Born in Woodstock, Illinois, Carl Theodore Linden was the son of Swedish immigrants. The family, supported by his mother’s catering business, encouraged Carl to further his education at the University of Illinois, Chicago Art Institute and the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. He was later selected to work at the McDowell Colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
During the Depression, he and his wife B (showing 500 of 1837 characters). |
