The following is submitted by Karen E. Rossi, Member Appraisers Association of America, currently cataloging the artist's works in the possession of his niece and heir.
Carlo (Charles) Leonetti was born in Naples, Italy in 1895 and immigrated with his family to the United States in 1910, at which time he enrolled at Cooper Institute, New York. From 1914 to 1924, except for the time he was engaged in combat in Germany during WW I, he studied at the Art Students League under Frank Vincent D (showing 500 of 3243 characters). |
