Carmen Lombardi was born July 16, 1922 at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was named after his mother, Carmen. He was born into a large family of four brothers and two sisters who resided at a home on 23rd street in Philadelphia. Carmen was mostly self taught. His brothers, Anthony, and Fred, were also painters. In fact, the children's parents thought Anthony was a better painter, so he was sent t (showing 500 of 1706 characters). |
